Herring gulls swooping down for bits of bread and brioche held out by people in front of cathédrale Notre-Dame. Seabirds have become much more numerous in Paris after the 1980s, some of them come from the coast along the English Channel, others migrate from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and elsewhere in Scandinavia.
