Scenes from the New Testament’s Passion of Christ recounted on la Sainte-Chapelle’s 6,620 square feet of stained glass windows. Towards the bottom right is the reliquary made of silver and gilded copper which held the crown of thorns, worn by Christ during his Passion, and a small piece of the cross on which he was crucified.
