A young man participating in his stag party ritual outside on rue Vieille-du-Temple.

A young man eating a hot dog at the corner of rue Vieille-du-Temple and rue Roi-de-Sicile. He is participating in a great tradition in France, «L’enterrement de vie de jeune garçon», the burial of the life of a young boy, his bachelor party. In this rite of passage people spend the day making complete, utter fools of themselves with their friends in public.
